The Man behind LKF Group - Dr. Allan Zeman

Besides being the “Godfather of Lan Kwai Fong” and pioneering numerous business interests, Dr Allan Zeman contributes much of his time to public service in Hong Kong.

Government Appointments:
In 2001, he was appointed a Justice of the Peace and has been awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star in 2004 by the Chief Executive of Hong Kong. In 2011 he was awarded the Grand Bauhinia Medal, the highest award under Hong Kong honors system for his significant contribution to the well-being of the city. He has also been awarded an honorary degree, Doctor of Laws Degree (L.L.D.) from The University of Western Ontario, Canada. In 2007, Style Magazine named him as Stylemaker of the Year. In 2008, DHL / SCMP named him as Businessman of the year. In 2010, Inchape Motors Ltd – Jaquar HK presented an Icon Reimagined Award to him.

Ocean Park:
In 2003, Dr. Allan Zeman was appointed as the Chairman of Ocean Park to rejuvenate the ageing marine theme-park facing the arrival of Disney Land. During his office, Ocean Park Hong Kong has been recognized as World’s Top Theme Park by prestigious 2012 Applause Award, the most significant recognition within the global attraction industry. It has also won three Brass Ring Awards at the IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) Expo held in Orlando, Florida. Ocean Park continuously welcomes more visitors each month than its global rival.

Board Appointments:
Zeman also sits on the Board of Wynn, the prominent gaming company in Las Vegas & Macau, China. He is also the Vice Chairman of Wynn Macau, Limited.
In 2001, he joined the Richard Ivey School of Business Asian Advisory Board. He has been active in guiding the strategy and activities of Ivey in Asia and generous in giving his time to participate in student and alumni events.
