Lan Kwai Fong Mainland China Projects Winning Major Architecture Awards

Lan Kwai Fong Group continues to build premium and innovative property projects across Mainland’s major cities and is pleased to announce that it has reaped major architecture awards.

Shanghai DreamCenter, a dynamic collaboration with DreamWorks Animation, China Media Capital and China Development Bank, won the top prize for Best Chinese Futura Mega Project at the 2014 MIPIM Asia Awards held last night. The expert jury, headed by Nicholas J. LOUP, Chief Executive of Grosvenor Asia Pacific, and composed of 17 industry experts, examined 126 projects from 13 countries and shortlisted three projects in each of 11 competition categories. Shanghai DreamCenter beat out the Kunming Jungfa Dongfeng Square and Mapletree Business City & Vivocity.

On November 20th, 2014, Lan Kwai Fong Wuxi, a joint collaboration with Taihu New City and Mission Hills Lan Kwai Fong Haikou, a joint venture with Mission Hills, both won the “Highly Commended Award” at the inaugural China Property Awards 2014 for Best Commercial Development (East China) and Best Mixed-Use Development (South China) respectively. Led by Ivan Ko, Chairman of the China Real Estate Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong Chapter, the 10 expert jury shortlisted outstanding projects in 24 categories honouring the country’s best developments and developers.

Featuring four key zones, ‘Fashion Avenue’, ‘Lan Kwai Fong Entertainment Zone, China Grove and Quarry Lake, the 240,000 sqm project is a joint collaboration between Lan Kwai Fong Group and the World’s leading Golf Club, Mission Hills.
